King Herod desperately tries to hang on to his illegitimate authority as the news of the long-awaited Messianic King spreads through his city like wildfire. As his response to this revelation reveals his insecurity, a faithful response is ironically displayed by pagan astrologers from a Gentile nation, who follow a star to Bethlehem, where they worship the new King of the Jews.
